Honor is a Navy Core Value, part of the official trio the Navy uses to guide conduct: Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Honor means upholding ethical standards in all actions, telling the truth, taking responsibility for your decisions, and maintaining the trust placed in you and the Navy. This makes it the best choice for a Navy Core Value. While Loyalty, Integrity, and Respect are admirable qualities and important for teamwork, they are not listed as the Navy’s official core values.
